The little gun or grenade launcher mounted on the front is lower than the bayonet/knife so if u would want to cut someone up u would just be waking them with the gun, and it's to far behind the barrel to stab with it so it's pretty useless not sure why that bothers me guess I'm thinking to deeply into it though it does add badassness but anyway it's a nice design.

you need to read the responses below... basically i decided the knife can be fired like a bullet or detached and used as a combat knife.
its not a bayonet.
